# Impossible Mission E021: ninth fragment and live robot return

Retained laboratory checkpoint:9/36 pieces, SNOOZES0, LIFT INITS4, zero ofnine
password letters. Game incomplete; normal-boot completion proof outstanding.
All eight previous nonblack memory masks are an exact subset of nine new masks.
New observed mask:ef0a62f9fdd9c1d52a660efd244d0c76983ab09a6080c0bc98fd93ed30285887. Inventory HUD12:41:16 follows
E020's12:40:10 without a new ten-minute penalty. Two earlier ordinary deaths
remain on the retained chain.32 layouts/72 room entries.

From shaftE the agent descends to room00, crosses six short gaps and reaches
shaftG. Room06 is entered from its original left194 doorway. Its terminal
number is matched against a previously rendered terminal06. An ordinary
SNOOZE disables four observed brown robots. The central lift caps146, so the
route uses a same-level Left jump to the left catwalk, the lower Left lift to98,
two same-level Right jumps across the98 shelves, and the still-unmoved upper
Right lift to50. The top lamp212/50 yields the ninth fragment.

SNO expires during the Left lift descent. A live body/beam guard replaces the
frozen-layout guard. The agent waits at the safe Left98 lift until the central
robot is observed at170.7 moving Right, crosses the24px gap to the56..88 shelf,
walks off its Right edge and drops to the empty bottom194. The guard is released
only after actual supporting pixels and a standing actor are confirmed there.
The original Left exit returns to shaftG and the Pocket Computer scans all9.
Coordinates come from rendered images only. No new ordinary death is observed.

Separate unpromoted fireplace154/50 search:Nothing here. SNO expired before
the following lamp attempt. That result and the calibration failures remain
in private development logs and are not replayed or claimed as retained game
progress. The retained branch searches the lamp first. The fireplace remains
present on this branch; its empty contents are already known from the lab test.

Three retained source runs:room-plan-20261010-102431,103850,104532. Each has
one initial laboratory load and zero intermediate restores. The first replay
prefix stops before its later Searching-dialog false alarm; the second shows
the collection and observed protection expiry; the third performs the live exit.
All source changes are visibly labelled. This is not an uninterrupted game
from normal boot. Partial robot visibility is checked against actually visible
body pixels outside the rendered avatar, not an inferred hidden position.

Replay:57.68s,25fps,960x800,998 actual RGB observations and47.620597 measured
PAL emulated seconds. Full320x200 field enlarged threefold. Zero-order hold at1x,
no interpolation, silent, decision pauses omitted;2s labelled hold per episode
and4s inventory still. Full video decode, visual card/source/inventory checks,
and all49 archived controller/plan/helper entries pass.

Complete source-run execution wall charge:436.329431s, including startup,
cleanup and the first run's omitted suffix. Other campaign experiments excluded.
Bounded inputs, watchdog and neutral cleanup remain active. Agent GPU allocation
is zero. Separate raster diagnostics serve timing only. No gameplay RAM
coordinates, hidden contents, trainer, memory writes, ROM, private snapshot,
raw RAM dump or executable is distributed.

Next:ordinary code resupply, other unsearched furniture, observed password
assembly and reproducible normal-boot completion. E018/E020/E001, Pengo/Pleiads
and existing lab catalogs are preserved.
