# M03 video review annotations — v2

New editorial video version only. Native input/trace, verified100,400 score,15 completed chronological rounds,4lives,zero detected deaths, full duration and frozen cumulative cost remain those of M03. Prior video v1 is preserved. Search engine is explicitly validated healthy-PLAY restore with CPU beam search; final verification uses two native full resets, zero LOAD/RAM writes.

The annotation module is pinned to the exact M03 trace. BOOT/ATTRACT/CREDIT/START, round setup and egg reveal, official round-clear and GAME TIME bonus screens, between-round intermissions, diamond sequence8615–9183, destroyed-egg points animation1496–1554, and raw-state6 Sno-Bee stun/points animation are presentation labels validated against the native video and retained causal timeline. Generic player state5 overlays are named push or points animation, without claiming an egg event on every such frame. Four measured round-start boundary frames are individually annotated. Other unforeseen contexts remain UNKNOWN.

The egg-removal causal event is1376, immediate counter acknowledgement1376; its later displayed500-point animation must not be mistaken for a new removal at1496. The score credit follows at1555. Stun contacts1767 and1800 likewise precede the visible animations. These labels do not repair or broaden the frozen runtime/planner readers, restore admission or death gates and are never agent observations. Native pixels plus exact trace context are the evidence; no claim of generic phase-reader accuracy is made.

# M03 editorial v2.1 addendum

The retained unpublished v2 draft reduces11,614 UNKNOWN frames to4. Inspection of its exact trace explains the remaining frames12692,17742,23437,23438: the next ACT header and objective count have been updated while the previous intermission's player5/latch remain. The existing old-player3 overlaps28731,35724,42095,42096 were already named.

The v2.1 annotation names these four additional measured overlaps ROUND START TRANSITION, only for the exact pinned M03 tape. Preserve original v1 and draft v2 files. No runtime reader/restore gate changes, no extra emulator evaluations. Rerender from the original native PNGs and validate full decode/layout/new boundary previews before publishing. This is complete annotation of this specific tape, not evidence of general phase-reader accuracy or full-machine identity.
