# Pengo score provenance — rollover and five-life comparison, v4

Retain v1–v3. The [TG submission for Paul Hornitzky / OOO](https://www.twingalaxies.com/records/voting-performances/221091-mame-pengo-set-1-rev-c-points-1492220-paul-hornitzky) was read directly in a JavaScript browser on 7 October 2026. It reports WolfMAME 0.106 and 1,492,220 cumulative points, explicitly calculated from two 655,360 rollovers and a final displayed 181,500. Its discussion also explains the 655,350 maximum display and 655,450 cumulative / 90 displayed example. This independently confirms the human convention described in Stefano's T1, consistent with the laboratory's static E058 model. The lab has not yet observed a legal rollover.

The current track rules specify `pengo` in old MAME, mapped to `pengoja` in recent versions, Medium, Upright, bonus life 30,000, Rack Test Off, and **five initial lives**. The laboratory remains MAME 0.289, `pengoja`, the same other settings, **three initial lives**, DSW1=176 / DSW2=204. E063v1.2 replayed the exact admitted 216,480 tape with a preboot dedicated five-life cfg and verified DSW1=160 / DSW2=204 at frame zero. The whole native tape completed, but both strict comparisons first diverged outside the predeclared lives/icon mask at frame 181, RAM offset 0x8815. Later rendered game pixels and sampled device state also differed. Outcome: **NUL_DIVERGENT_SETTINGS_TAPE**; no automatic retry, adaptive mask or lab DIP change. Thus this tape is not demonstrated valid under TG settings.

The supplied human leaderboard values remain numerical comparisons, not laboratory rankings: 244,380; 309,240; 539,730; 650,290; 1,492,220. The larger ambition is at least 1,492,230 certified cumulative points, with one million intermediate and 300,000 next. Human competition and TRAJECTORY SEARCH / PRIVILEGED / REAL TIME REPLAY VERIFICATION remain distinct categories.
