# Pengo 9,790: editorial revision 2

Addresses `pengo-video-9790-review-v1.md` W1–W6. The original videos and original metadata remain unchanged. No emulator run, candidate search or change to the retained tape is performed.

- **W1, option b:** the fixed header reads `ACT 3: death at frame 7,299` throughout. No neutral extension is included. The tape ends at physical frame 7,350; the later lives decrement at 7,601 belongs to the separate diagnostic.
- **W2:** the fixed reference line reads `9,390 alive / 9,790 at tape end`. A separate current observed score follows the original frame. Last healthy observation: 7,298. Death first observed: 7,299. Score becomes 9,790 in the dense observation at 7,323; the every-two-frame video first renders it at 7,324. The first rendered death warning is 7,300. Thus rendered warnings and score are 24 physical frames apart. A lives counter of 3 after collision is not three healthy lives.
- **W3:** `13,211 TOTAL fresh-prefix evaluations` is fixed from the first rendered frame. It denotes the whole recorded campaign, not evaluations accrued at that playback time.
- **W4:** the visible title is `EXPLORATORY PILOT`, with no BEST title. Scientifically, 9,790 remains the highest retained verified planner-trajectory endpoint in this local campaign; this is not a full-game or world record, nor the maximum pre-death score.
- **W5:** E009 v1 and v1.1 are superseded and **not publishable**, keyed by their exact media SHA-256 in `data/pengo/video-publication-status-v1.json` and new sidecars. Existing MP4/metadata are not overwritten. E012 editorial v1 is also superseded by this revision.
- **W6:** the SHA-256 covers the dense file header `PENGO01` plus newline, then observations for physical frames 1 through 7,350. Each 4,121-byte record contains a 4-byte unsigned little-endian physical frame index, program-space RAM **0x8000–0x8fff inclusive (4,096 bytes)**, **spriteram2 coordinate share (16 bytes)** and **five one-byte driver flags** in order: `m_charbank`, `m_colortablebank`, `m_flipscreen`, `m_palettebank`, `m_spritebank`. CPU registers, other device internals, scheduler, timers, pixels and the input tape are not included in this hash. Sampled pixels/exposed devices and canonical inputs have separate comparisons/hashes. **Complete-machine identity remains UNKNOWN.**

The output has 3,675 rendered frames at 30.303030303 fps, covering 7,350 physical frames at 60.606060606 Hz, 121.275 seconds. Original native images are enlarged by exactly 3 using nearest-neighbour sampling. The source editorial capture was accelerated; separate native-speed reset confirmations validate the retained trajectory. No runtime pixel agent receives diagnostic RAM.

Full decode, all-frame label/bounds checks and representative visual inspection pass. Historical video hashes and all 113 files in source contract v2 remain unchanged. 304,000 remains a numeric target with unverified comparable-leaderboard provenance. E003 remains incomplete; E004 diagnosis and the search stop are unchanged.
